Ben Fong-Torres
During his 11-year stint as an editor for Rolling Stone, Ben interviewed
such musical luminaries as Ray Charles, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Marvin
Gaye, and Elton John. With creditials like that, he was a natural choice to
report on the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame. An author and former disc jockey,
Ben has also appeared in the pages of GQ, Esquire, Playboy, and numerous other
publications. The San Francisco Bay Area native has even been immoratlized in
filmhe is portrayed as himself in Cameron Crowe's semi-autobiographical movie
Almost Famous.
