Scott Gummer

One week before taking his two older kids to the San Diego Wildlife Park and San Diego Zoo, Scott Gummer was on safari at the Phinda Private Game Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, Africa. Says Scott, "It was odd to watch caged lions in our zoo after being watched by a pride roaming free in their jungle." A former writer for LIFE Magazine, Scott regularly contributes to Vanity Fair, In Style, Travel & Leisure Golf, and Sports Illustrated. He lives in what often feels like a zoo with his wife, three children, a dog, a cat, and two goldfish.
