Katie Showalter

A Denver native, Katie Showalter has lived and traveled all over the Western United States and writes about travel, health, the outdoors, and the environment for VIA, Outside, the LA Times, and other publications. When not at her computer, she is playing in the deserts and mountains near her home in Salt Lake City, preparing and enjoying meals with her boyfriend (who is a chef), or she's on the road traveling.
