A tower of power rises in Laramie

Sculptor John Henry's steel monument, River High, in Laramie, Wyoming

Sculptor John Henry's latest steel monument, River High, definitely reaches for the sky. The crisscross of six stoplightred beams soars 55 feet into the air above Laramie, Wyo., in a burst of color that grabs your attention from miles away. Installed near the Laramie Recreation Center, River High is the tallest of 18 multidimensional works in the exhibition Sculpture: A Wyoming Invitational, on view at sites around the city through June.
