Teatime!

19th-century English majolica

Not all the teapots at Hawkes Winery are as corny as this 19th-century English majolica. You’ll also find a sleek beige number by the skilled Bauhaus ceramist Otto Lindig, along with hundreds of others bearing salmon, turtles, pinecones, and flowers. You can admire Stephen Hawkes’s teapots at the tasting room in Healdsburg, Calif. Yes, he’s made tea in them all. (707) 433-5218, www.hawkeswine.com.
