When the weather outside is frightful, it's all the more delightful at Kalaloch Lodge. Snuggle up in one of its cabins–perched on a bluff along the untamed coast of Washington's Olympic Peninsula–and watch as winter storms rage and surf churns. And if howling winds knock out the power? A bit farther afield, you'll find glacier-frosted mountains and mossy rain forests where you can hike among the spruce and hemlock trees.
